Autumn Brewing Co., the North East based brewer, has invested in 2 new 3500Ltr fermenting vessels which will increase its brewing capacity, capability and flexibility. This significant investment enables the Company to meet the growing demand for its naturally gluten-free beers as it continues to increase its network of on-trade and off-trade outlets across the North East region as well as developing distribution opportunities outside the North East as a result of a tie up with London based distribution company Dam Tasty Beer.
The new brewing vessels have been installed, commissioned and are ready to ferment their first brews. The investment in new equipment reduces the reliance on fermenter capacity of their contract brewing partners as well as giving the flexibility they need to meet growing demand. Peter Briggs, Founder and Director of Autumn Brewing Co., commented, “The new fermenters are a significant investment for the business and will enable us to plan brews more effectively in the future; particularly as we are looking to put more of our product into kegs after receiving some excellent feedback recently about our draught Pilsner.”
The tie up with Dam Tasty Beer in London is a significant step in developing a distribution network across the UK which will help increase sales and awareness of Autumn Brewing Co.’s naturally gluten-free beers. Commenting on the listing with Dam Tasty Beer, John Chilton, Business Development Director, said, “The listing of our ALT BREW beers with Dam Tasty comes on the back of significantly increasing the number of outlets around the North East over the last 6 months and gives the Company a presence in the South East of England where the gluten-free market is more established. Dam Tasty Beer also offer a 3rd party order fulfilment service for trade customers which will also enable the Company to develop a network of stockists across the South East.” Lua Garcia of Dam Tasty Beer also stated, "We are super excited to be working with Autumn Brewing Co.; their beers taste fantastic and we love having a naturally gluten-free beer offering for our customers."
Autumn Brewing Co. are now gearing up for a very busy festive period with events planned every weekend through to the New Year when the business is planning to work with Brewlab, the Sunderland based brewing and analysis services company, on further product development. This will add another exciting brew to their ALT BREW range and give customers greater choice of naturally gluten-free beer.
